its a mood is a barcelona - based design studio founded by interior architect maria massaad, working across collectible design and interior architecture. the studio's distincitve design language is defined by architectural sensibility and an exploration of materials and craftmanship. at its core is the belief that design extends beyond the physical, evoking emotions and shaping the atmosphere of a space.this philosophy is reflected in the studio's name: design is as much about how we feel as what we see.

maria massaad is an interior architect and founder of its a mood. with an educational background in interior architecture across lebanon and barcelona, her practice spans interior architecture, residential renovation and collectible design, drawing on her experience in spatial composition, construction, and material exploration. massaad's work draws inspiration from architecture, nature, and personal observations, characterized by expressive volumes and an intuitive approach to materiality.

Through ITS A MOOD, she develops a personal design language that extends across interiors and objects, bringing together architectural principles and artistic expression.
